PLAYLIST: SWEET FEBRUARY

Saturday, February 28, 2015

February is my birthday month. I just celebrated my 23rd birthday on 17th and it was both blessing and joyful. I'm surrounded by good and lovely people and I'm blessed to have them as mine in my daily existence.

However, people also love this month because of Valentine's Day and to be honest, I don't celebrate it. For me, personally, every day is the same day. Show some love everyday is not a harm. So why wait for a fourteenth day in February to show love? But, well, it's just me. I'm just saying :)

This month, my mood is kinda colourful. I feel so happy and sad at the same time and few weeks ago got me really bad but thank God, I got over it and feel happy again. So, in this happy mood, I listen to the songs that make me happy, precious, and feeling loved.

What's your favourite songs this month?

CINEMA: STILL ALICE

Friday, February 27, 2015

Still Alice is a heart wrenching, beautiful film about a woman dealing with a devastating diagnosis. You slowly get into Alice's head, witness the subtle shift in her behavior, her struggles, and it's heartbreaking. I cried so much during the movie! If you have any history with a chronic disease like I do, and even if you don't, you will cry during this movie. It's an emotionally-charged film that has the particularity to be easy to watch.

CINEMA: PROJECT ALMANAC

I watched the movie trailer around September or October last year (with the title: Welcome to Yesterday) and I was like, "That movie is better be good!" and I was like waiting for forever because it kept saying coming soon. Literally, me and my sis were so excited for this movie.

When it finally arrived at the cinema in earlier February, me and my sis went in hurry with excitement. We're just like being so tremendously happy after got our tickets in hand. But really, it isn't necessary. It's just a movie. You know us. We love movies. So, yeah...

BOOKSHELF: THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

This book...there are no words to describe the epic adventure this novel will take you on. I didn't really have any expectations for this book, but it turned out to be pretty good.

The beginning of this novel starts off with a bang. It's a recapping of a disturbing memory following an event that altered Ezra and his best friend Toby's lives. Ezra begins to believe everyone in their lives will have a tragic changing point. You won't know when it'll happen but once it does, life will change drastically. He's right.

VANITY: MY GO TO LIPSTICK

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

I've been completely losing my mind. This whole month, I have no mood for doing my makeup and to be honest, I don't know why.

In those fine days, I still using my concealer to cover my dark circles, put some mascara on my lashes and lipstick. Even, I can go a day only with lipstick. Earlier this January, I bought new balm stain from Revlon - of course - in 001 Honey Douche and this product is way better than I thought before. At seems scary on the tube but when I put some on my lips, this is the perfect colour for everyday looks but I can't remember why I stop using it.

OSCARS 2015

Here are my thoughts during the Oscars 2015:

GET READY WITH ME: THEME PARK MAKEUP LOOK

Saturday, February 21, 2015

Some people said it's not make any sense to put makeup on your face when all you want to do is have fun. Wrong. Because, we do want to have fun and have great pics coming out, right? So those happiness moments won't go wrong by dark circles under your eyes, or your acnes and blemishes.

So, ladies, stop lying to yourself and admit it. Even when you go to the theme park, you DO your makeup but keep it simple and by simple I mean 'NO MAKEUP MAKEUP LOOK'.

Here's my look the other day:

JANUARY: MY SECOND 'SECONDHAND SERENADE' CONCERT

Sunday, February 01, 2015

In the last day of January, me and sister went to Secondhand Serenade. It wasn't his own concert, but a music event (or should I say music festival) with so many talented musicians from Indonesia, especially from Bandung (indies). To be completely honest, I don't really know them except few bigger musicians, and I don't know their songs too. But somehow, I enjoyed their performances and made me danced ;)

SECONDHAND SERENADE is one of my favourite musicians. I went to his concert in Bandung 2 or 3 years ago, and knowing that he came back made me thrilled! He is one of those talented musicians who heats the stage, brings us along with his amazing songs.

He performed some of old songs and few new songs from his new album, Undefeated. I can't exactly remember the numbers, because I was overjoyed last night (sorry not sorry). I was a little tiny tiny bit disappointed because he didn't perform 'Fly By' and 'Something More' but it paid with his performance, sexy hair, sexy voice and his face (yasss! that face!)

Here are some pictures from that night:

SECONDHAND SERENADE YEAH!!!
